FLAVIO TOGNI & FAMIGLIA, DIRETTAMENTE DALL’AMERICAN CIRCUS, PER AL FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE DEL CIRCO DI LATINA PER PRESENTARE I’ESCLUSIVO NUMERO DI CAVALLI E CAMMELLI BIANCHI

Una tra le grandi novità artistiche del decennale del Festival di Latina la si riscontra nella presenza, tra gli artisti ospiti, del grandeur Flavio Togni, star dell’American Circus. Ma capiamo meglio come Flavio riesce ad entrare nel firmamento del circo internazionale: Flavio, infatti, fin da bambino ha bene in mente quale sarà la sua strada all’interno del mondo del circo e dello spettacolo poiché preferisce da subito gli animali ad ogni altra disciplina e impara a cavalcare sotto la guida del nonno Ferdinando, il quale poi lo affida al maestro di equitazione Domingo Ferreiras Guintas. Il debutto avviene all’età di 14 anni in sella ad un cavallo, anche se in quegli stessi anni Flavio scopre un’altra passione: gli elefanti. E’ proprio un esercizio con gli elefanti che gli vale l’invito al Festival Internazionale del Circo di Montecarlo nel 1976, dove vince il Clown D’Argento, primo di numerosi altri riconoscimenti che culmineranno, nel 1998, con il terzo Clown D’Argento, confermandosi l’unico artista al mondo a detenere tre statuette del prestigioso premio. Nel 1991 sposa Adela Dos Santos, americana di origine spagnola, dalla quale ha avuto due gemelli: Bruno e Adriana. Il segreto del suo successo è forse espresso dalle parole di Flavio stesso: “qualcuno pensa che bisogna ‘rompere’ il carattere di un animale per domarlo, diventarne il padrone e sottometterlo. Non è assolutamente vero. Deve essere la fiducia e non la paura a spingere un animale ad eseguire un esercizio. L’addestramento degli animali è dedizione totale. Senza stima e rispetto reciproco non c’è addestramento”. La consacrazione definitiva a livello mondiale di Flavio Togni avviene nel 1990 quando inizia la tournee americana con il Circo Barnum & Bailey. La sua stessa passione per la pista e gli animali è nata anche nel figlio Bruno, che insieme ai cugini Enis jr. e Claudio Togni, gemelli di 13 anni figli di Daniele Togni, presenta da due anni un numero di pony. Insieme Bruno, Claudio ed Enis jr. frequentano l’Accademia d’Arte Circense di Verona e hanno già partecipato due volte al Circo Massimo Show su RaiTre.

FROM THE AMERCIAN CIRCUS AND FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE   INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL, FALVIO TOGNI & FAMILY PRESENT THE AMAZING ACT OF HORSES AND WHITE CAMELS

One of the greatest novelties of the 10^th Latina Festival is the guest artist Flavio Togni, star of the American Circus. Flavio Togni has known what his future in the circus world would have been like since he was a child. He prefers animals to any other disciplines and learns how to ride under the guidance of his grandfather Ferdinando first and under the horsemanship teacher Domingo Ferreiras Guintas later.

He debuts riding a horse at the age of 14, but during those years he discovers another passion: elephants. It is thanks to a performance with elephants that he is invited at the International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo in 1976, where he wins the Silver Clown, first of many other recognitions, until he gained the Silver Clown for the third time, remaining the only one in the world to have won so many important awards.

In 1991 he married Adela Dos Santos, an American woman with Spanish origin, and with her he has two twins: Bruno and Adriana.

The secret of his success is probably explained by Flavio himself: “someone thinks that in order to tame an animal, it must be subdued. It is not absolutely true. Not fear but only trust must push an animal to perform an exercise. Animal training is total devotion. Without mutual respect there cannot be training”.

The definitive worldwide consecration of Flavio Togni arrives in 1990, when he starts the American tournee with the Barnum & Bailey Circus.

His same passion for ring and animals has arisen also in his son Bruno, who, together with cousins Enis jr. and Claudio, 13-year-ols twins sons of Daniele Togni, has been performing with ponies since two years.

The three boys, Bruno, Claudio and Enis jr., are attending the in and have already participated at two editions of the Circo Massimo Show on television.
