Latina a Yekaterinburg (Russia)

In occasione del Festival Internazionale del Circo, nella città russa di Yekaterinburg, assegnato un premio speciale “Città di Latina” alla troupe “Honey revolt” ed issato sul confine tra Europa ed Asia un segnale indicante la direzione e la distanza chilometrica tra le città di Yekaterinburg e Latina.

LATINA, 12 Giugno 2009.

Dal 29 Maggio al 1 Giugno scorsi si è svolta in Russia, nella città di Yekaterinburg, la tredicesima edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Circus of our childhood”. La manifestazione, riservata a giovani artisti tra gli 8 ed i 25 anni di età, si è svolta in concomitanza con il novantesimo anniversario della Compagnia del Circo di Stato Russo. Fabio Montico, in qualità di Presidente del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina”, ha preso parte all’evento in qualità di membro di giuria insieme ad alcuni fra gli “eccellenti” del mondo circense a livello mondiale: Urs Pilz, vice Presidente del Festival del circo di Montecarlo, Istvan Kristof, direttore del Circo di Budapest, Mstislav Zapashny, direttore generale della compagnia del Circo di Stato Russo “Rosgostsirk”. Il Festival Internazionale del Circo “Circus of our childhood” porta la firma di Anatoly Marchevsky che ne ha curato l’organizzazione e la direzione in qualità di Direttore artistico del Circo di Stato di Yekaterinburg.

La denominazione “Città di Latina”, sede dell’omonimo Festival Internazionale del Circo, ha raggiunto lo Stato russo in due importanti occasioni:

Ø un premio speciale intitolato “Città di Latina” è stato assegnato dal Presidente Fabio Montico al numero di giocoleria presentato dalla troupe “Honey revolt”.

Ø Un segnale indicante l’ubicazione geografica di Latina, città italiana capoluogo del Lazio, nonché la distanza chilometrica, pari a 4857 km, tra Latina e Yekaterinburg, è stato montato sui Monti Urali, sul confine geografico tra Europa ed Asia, in territorio russo. Un segnale che, aldilà della sua valenza geografica o turistica, vuole suggellare un’amicizia tra differenti realtà del mondo circense un segnale che suggerisce ancora una volta quei valori di pace, accoglienza, rispetto delle reciproche differenze di cui il mondo del Circo è portatore. Il Presidente dell’XI edizione del Festival Internazionale del Circo “Città di Latina” Fabio Montico, sulla scorta del gesto di amicizia intrapreso dal Circo di Stato di Yekaterinburg, auspica di poter rendere visibile anche a Latina, sede del Festival, un segno tangibile e permanente della dimensione internazionale ed interculturale dell’arte circense.

Latin to Ekaterinburg ()

In occasion of the International Circus Festival City of Latina, in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, a special prize “City of Latin” has been assigned to the troupe “Honey revolt” and it has been fixed on the border among Europe and Asia a sign that represents the direction and the distance among the cities of Yekaterinburg and Latin.

Starting from the last 29^th of May to the 1^st of June, in , in the city of takes place the thirteenth edition of the International Festival of the Circus “Circus of our childhood”. This demonstration, reserved to young artists among the 8 and the 25 years of age took place together with the ninetieth anniversary of the Company of the Circus of Russian State. , as President of the International Circus Festival “City of Latin”, took part to the event as member of jury together with some among the “big personality” of the Circus world: Urs Pilz, Vice President of the Festival of the circus of Montecarlo, , Director of the Circus of Budapest, Mstislav Zapashny, General Director of the Russian State Circus Company “Rosgostsirk”. The International Festival of the Circus “Circus of our childhood” see the important role of Anatoly Marchevsky that takes care of the organization and the direction of it as Art Director of the Ekaterinburg State Circus.

The name “City of “, that is the place where the International Circus Festival takes place has reached the in two important occasions:

a special prize entitled “City of “, it has been assigned by the President to an act of juggling presented by the troupe “Honey revolt.”

A sign indicating the geographical location of Latin, Italian city chief town of the Lazio, as well as the distance, equal to 4857 kms, among Latin and Ekaterinburg, has been fixed on the Urali Mountains, on the geographical border among Europe and Asia, in Russian territory. A sign that, beyond its geographical or tourist value, wants to confirm a friendship among different realities of the Circus world a signal that suggests once more that values of peace, reception, respect of the mutual differences of which the world of the Circus is carrier. The President of the XI edition of the International Circus Festival “City of ” , according to the sign of friendship undertaken by the Circus of State of Ekaterinburg wishes to be able to make also visible to Latin, place of the Festival, an effective and permanent sign of the international and intercultural dimension and of the Circus art.
